What a day it was yesterday!!! We were ecstatic to see so many familiar friendly faces and are so incredibly touched that many of you sacrificed precious time away from loved ones and put off new year goodies shopping to make it a wonderfully unforgettable day for us!!!

Here are some sneaks at what went on a couple of days ago!!

The lovely gals from our Design Team came down in full force to help out with the Make N Takes!!! What will we do without them??? Some of them, fresh off the airplane after a business trip or recovering from a gruelling work week … they all came down to help make this an unforgettable day! They are the absolute sweetest!

We trust that if you came down, you would have gotten to know these swell babes a whole lot better … they are not only talented but truly have hearts of gold!!!

And in our new improved workshop rooms, we had our ‘To Die For’ crop parties where Big Shots (an affectionate term for Made With Love Sizzix members ;) ) completed 3 mini projects with compliments from us for more cropping fun!!!

A couple of Big Shots won challenges and walked away with Sizzix Alphabet sets worth almost $350 each!!!

And what’s a celebration without some champagne??? ;)

And yummy food that Chenta and team prepared with love ….

Of course, the champagne got the better of some ……

Whilst others continued to be steady on their feet as they helped you out with your Make N Takes … hee hee!!!

And then there was more excitement as we unveiled the ALL NEW BIG SHOT PRO machine and SIZZIX PRO DIES … just look at the larger, even more awesome creative projects you can embark on with this ALL NEW amazing machine!!!

But what made it a truly special day were all the warm smiles and friendly encouraging pats we received for bringing this newest addition to you! We wish we could have gotten photos of everyone who came but here’s a few we managed to get of some of you who came down to join in the fun and wish us well! We are truly grateful for you!

A little under the weather, but Sandra wouldn’t have missed this day for the world …

At the end of the day … we just hope you are having as much fun as these cheeky boys with your Sizzix die-cutting system and we hope you thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the opening of this new wing of ours so you can have the comfort of choosing all that your heart desires from Sizzix at Made With Love!!! We’ll do our best to give you what you ask for.

And do check out our new workshops and be one of the first to scrap in the comfort of our new workshop rooms which we hope you’ll find super comfy and roomy!

Happy Monday Scrappers !!!

The two Sketch Challenges for January were a success, all of you truly amazed us with your response and we would like to say a **BIG** thank you for playing and adding your creativity to the Gallery. After a round of votes and counting the points, the winner of the $30 prize of Made Wtih Love vouchers is :

Esther Aw !!! This is her colourful and festive layout textured with an embossed frame and a ribbon circle ! Isn’t it a perfect Chinese New Year page ? Congratulations Esther and do visit her gallery for a closer look at all the details.

For February, the Design Team will be working on a range of mediums and to kick off, today we feature layouts in the Gallery using them. Glimmer Misting is a popular technique and we have seen scrappers loving the spontaneous dimension and surprising mixes of colour it gives their layouts.

 Hilda has used both paints and glimmer mist to create a background for her layout.

 Tinkerbell used a mix of bright coloured mists for this whimsical layout of their visit to Hong Kong Disneyland.

 Wu Ling used a light misting of blue to add a dreamy, soft feel to her nature layout.

Thank you ladies for your contributions to the Gallery  !! Remember, the Gallery is for scrappers of all abilities and styles, we *love*love*love* looking at fresh layouts and projects as they provide ideas and tons of inspiration for scrappers who visit.

Hello Scrappers !! Can you believe it’s  February ??  And this month, Made With Love is all excited about about the new wing and the fabulous events coming right up ! You will get a chance to try out the Make & Takes at the brand new Demo Bar and the Design Team will be on hand to show you how versatile the Big Shot is. We hope to see as many of you there !

Sketch Challenge #2 has a few more days to run, so remember to upload your layouts by 4th February 12pm.  We had a tough time deciding on the winner for Sketch#1 and again expect the standards to be really high ! Good luck, we can’t wait to see all the submissions !!

Next week the Design Team will be back with their layouts, so watch out for them in the gallery and blog.

This Saturday 6th February, we hope to see you all at the Opening Celebrations of the new Die-Cutting Center and workshop rooms ! Everyone at Made With Love is super excited at the new premises, the panels of easy to reach dies and the spaciouness of it all. Come see what the Big Shot can do and go *WOW* at the stunning colourful projects in the shop window.
